3D printing using filament has existing for quite some time now. However, 3D printing is not always perfect. The amount of times something has failed to print is beyond dozens at this point. But instead of throwing away the filament from the failed print we offered an idea to recycle filament.
To start, we have to shred down the filament into pieces. So, we bought a shredder for the job. Though I will say it's quite messy getting it out afterwards, as you can tell by the mess on the floor.

Then we place that shredded filament in a jar and lable the corresponding temperature used when printed that color of filament.
